Meet the Doctor
My name is Patrick J. Kirsch. I was born in 1968 on Web Air Force Base located in Big Spring, Texas. Shortly after my birth my parents moved to Rawlins, Wyoming where my four siblings and I were raised. I have two brothers and two sisters and am the second oldest of five children. I have three beautiful daughters, McKenzie age 15, Madison age 11, and Mariah age 7. They live with their mother in Billings, Montana.
I graduated from Rawlins High School in 1987. I graduated from Carroll College in Helena, Montana in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry. I completed one year of postgraduate study in Human Anatomy at Saint Louis University School of Medicine 1993-1994. Prior to enrolling at Palmer College I had many jobs. I sold insurance and real estate, worked construction in the oil fields and an oil refinery in Wyoming, and I was an ironworker in Colorado.
The first time I went to a chiropractor was when I was working as an ironworker. I began to have severe low back pain, which I attributed to all the physical construction work I had done over the years. But, after a through history and a chiropractic exam, my chiropractor told me that my problem was called “subluxation”. He said this subluxation had been there for quite some time and could have come from numerous traumatic life events that I shared with him such as: automobile accidents, high school sports, bicycle wrecks as a child, or even as far back as my birth. The more I learned about chiropractic the more I wanted to know and when my chiropractor suggested that I look into chiropractic as a career, that is when I applied to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
While I was a student at Palmer College, my work study consisted of tutoring students in the cadaver lab for both spinal anatomy and gross anatomy. I worked as a teaching assistant for the technique department helping students hone their skills. I also worked as a clinical teaching assistant helping the doctors in the Palmer Chiropractic Clinics.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic and was elected to Pi Tau Delta, the Chiropractic International Scholastic Honor Society. I also earned a Clinical Teaching Assistant Award of Service from the Palmer Chiropractic Clinics as well as a Technique Certificate of Merit from the Palmer College Technique Department.
In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors by camping, hiking, fishing, hunting and playing golf. I also enjoy carpentry and welding. But, my favorite pastime is spending time with my 3 daughters
I look forward to making Sheridan my home and becoming an involved member of the community. Thank you for your support.
